Fun. Informative. Intelligent. Feeling.

Daron is a concert of all the above in his work. He serves as Manager of Broadcasting at USA Baseball and is the play-by-play broadcaster for High Point University men's basketball. For the 2023-24 season, he was simultaneously the radio play-by-play voice of East Carolina University men's basketball. He has called a variety of sporting events across ESPN's family of digital networks, including the NCAA Regionals for women's gymnastics and men's soccer, as well as the ACC championships for wrestling and outdoor track-and-field.

He hosts local sports talk radio shows throughout North Carolina, and he is entering his fourth season contributing to Durham Bulls radio and television broadcasts in 2024.

Along with former MLB closer Danny Graves, Daron co-hosts "ACC Baseball Etc.," part of the D1Baseball Podcast Network.

In addition to calling sporting events, Daron has served as an adjunct instructor at both the University of North Carolina's Hussman School of Journalism & Media and High Point University's School of Communication. Since 2021, he has also hosted game shows for the N.C. Education Lottery. He attended Emory & Henry College as an undergraduate, where he received degrees in Mass Communication & English Literature. Following undergrad, he attended Elon University and earned an M.A. in Interactive Media.

I have long admired Daron's talent and versatility. He cares deeply about doing things the right way and it shows in his work. Daron is a pro in every sense of the word and has an incredibly bright future in the sports media world.
